ND out gained BC 150 yds to 15 on the first six possessions of the game . ND put up close to 500 yds

BC did not cross their own 20 yd line twice in two of their first three possessions .

The committee will see our all american WR drop a pass to put us up 26-3 and give BC what would have been their worst loss of the year by far . The committee will analyze this game and come up with these facts and conclusions( because that is exactly what happened ) . There are all kinds of 3 point games, this was a complete FLUKE that BC lost by only three points . As coach Kelly accurately stated after the game " we were pretty generous " in giving back 21 points .

ND shredded the #1 defense in college football SHREDDED them and simply made 7 mistakes to keep a badly over matched team in the game . That's what the committee will see and discuss in evaluating ND's 10th win of the season . Oh my bad BC wasn't in the game for 55 minutes because despite the mistakes ND was up 16 late . Clemson beat BC by 17 . If ND plays BC again they win by 20 +

The committee seems to have ignored Bama's 5 turnovers in their LOSS to Miss. So ND's turnovers in their WIN should not hold them back from moving up to #3 based on their body of work.

All that matters is that ND beats stanford. A blowout or some Irish luck--no matter how. After conference games it would not surprise me if iowa is the lone unbeaten and the new #1. Anything can happen. All ND can do is WIN.
