Prentiss Hubbs

Congrats...this kid is really good. Have seen him at a few places I recruit, he's a player.

Very exciting. PG was probably our no. 1 need this class. We sure offered some top ones in guys like Carey, Garland, Quinnerly and others. Well, Hubbs is one of the best. He could play SG as well with his scoring ability and outside shot. He and Gibbs will be a nice combo.

Add Roby Carmody or Luther Muhammed and you have an excellent pair of guards to build the class around, with TJ Gibbs already on campus and Nik Djogo / DJ Harvey ready to eventually takeover in that "3 guard" spot. ND starting to put some serious talent together. Landing a talented big man and getting Juwan Durham to transfer in, would be huge!

We definitely need a quality big man recruit to join this group down the road. The big man rotation should be improved this season w/ the natural progressions that geben Mooney & burns will make. Add them to bonzie and Torres and that's a pretty good, deep rotation. I'm excited to watch this team develop. There are some unknowns but this team could be sneaky good.

Great pick up. Kid plays both ends of the court. Kid can and will create offense for himself and others. Probably a more prolific scorer than we're used to at the PG position, but clearly in the mound of how this position is being redefined.

I follow wbb recruiting more than the guys and so I really don't know this kid but i'm glad to see that the staff got a big timer. the last few recruiting classes have been some of the best that our irish have brought in for some time now. I still remember just a few years back when coach brey had to run the slow burn offense against a lot of top 15 rated teams because his teams didn't have the athletes to compete with them but not now

just did some reading on him and saw some highlights of him. first of all he is rated anywhere from the 38th overall rated player nationally by 247 to the 50th overall rated player by other services and secondly he is a super athletic player that can really shoot 3s and play defense. he has some amazing slam dunks in his highlights also. our irish can compete for titles in my opinion with this kid playing along side of Harvey and Gibbs for a few years if brey can finally bring in a quality 6-10 type big man to go with these three future college studs. the Maryland boards are in meltdown over them not getting him as he is from Washington D.C.

Has the makings of a nice 8-9 man rotation down the road. Have to land a couple more key pieces to get there though.

i'm reading elsewhere that a new practice facility that is coming soon is what put our irish on top when he visited

Hopefully Prentiss can also coach since Brey can't
