Players Who Need to Step Up the Most

18 out of 34 sucks for kickers these days. Yoon needs to quit with the celebration routine like he had with Kizer his first two years and be more focused. He has the potential.

Someone caught my typo -- should be 18 out of 24!

I remember one of our Secondary guys against USC , on his knees, making the worst half hearted arm tackle attempt at a RB blowing right past for a score. It was at their place and it was on national TV in all its glory. Coaching or player break down? This dude wanted no part of being in on a solo tackle with a rambling RB. Where did this thought process come from? Coaching or player?

Need one of the receivers to step up and be THE GO-TO GUY!!
We have a lot of good receivers, but nobody has become great yet.
We need a Mr. Reliable who can get 8-10 catches a game and break one or two for long yardage. Someone who Wimbush will see as his safety blanket. Someone he can count on time and again.

When it's 3rd and 7 - we need a guy who will catch the ball no matter where it's thrown!!
Who's it gonna be???

St. Brown should be able to be that guy.

As a True Sophomore he had almost 1,000 yards / 10 TDs, averaging about 5 catches a game.

Doesn't seem like a stretch too add 2-3 more catches a game for another 20-50 yards and few more TDs
(that's in the range of Floyd's junior season, Fuller's Sophomore seasons, etc.)

I agree, it can be St. Brown. Hopefully he will continue his development.
This would be a HUGE help to our young qb.

Still may be a year too early to expect significant contribution from KKareem though he has the frame and great potential. DHayes is athletically ready to contribute right now but expecting him to stay on the field given his history of injuries is a huge question mark.
