Perse is still around he likes the other boards now but i am pretty sure he is here with a new name

I put Perse on ignore, and I believe he did the same to me, well before last season. I can see where gettting beat up over approaching 30K posts may have caused him to post less or not at all; but suspect this has more to do with the tide swinging back in support of all the changes Kelly made and the team winning, and his over the top constant negative narrative losing steam. Our differences aside, hard for me to believe Perse would resort to posting under an alias.
CGVR got permanently banned including his IP address by the Mods. The Mods did not like cgvr attacking the Kelly foundation.
CGVR was without question the Scum of the Earth. Just a horrible, awful, rotten person. Glad he's gone, and can be a miserable SOB somewhere else.
No one is greater than the board. There is no "I" in board...or something like that.
He got tired everyone was ignoring him and if they weren't they were making fun of his post count. Maybe he left for good but I have my doubts.

No offense perse or bodi, but it wasn't all that long ago we were trying to do what we could to help ND35 post given his vision issues. Miss him dearly. Hope he is well and may we all be as happy as him tomorrow night wherever he may be. Thanks to all who make this board a pleasant source of information, joy, and commisery. May it be overwhelmingly more the former than the latter in 2017 (especially tomorrow). Really enjoy beating these guys. GO IRISH!!!!

I grew up a fan of ND. my degree of being a fan was second to none. Real or not I had an image of ND that put the ND institution and it’s football team on a pedestal. It was not just football.
In recent season it has become apparent that my image of ND and the real ND of today are not in synch.
I have nothing invested in ND. As purely a fan, being a fan has always been a matter of choice.
Regular posters know my opinions regarding BK extend beyond the W/L record. It is as much about character. I cannot give ND a pass for having thrown it’s lot in with such a person. Looking the other way is what ND fans have accused other universities of doing. It is all about choice.
Then there is the matter of the newer fans joining the board. I visit other forums and I rarely read the kind of vulgarity or personal attacks common here. So where is the purpose or joy in discussing football.
Even the speculation in this thread confirms that. Flaming (Sal) to personal attack (chi); that type persona will rot your bones.
So now you know.

The changes bk made will come to fruition in the next 6 games. Until bk starts winning big games he is still a mediocre coach in my book. For NDs sake I hope I am wrong but I have always had my doubts about bk. Sorry, we all don't drink the Kelly kool-aide. After 8 years not many should
The change BK made this year that is apparent to me is: he is blowing teams away. I was most critical of him in the past for playing to preserve a lead. It would infuriate me to watch ND get up on an opponent and then go dormant while losing all momentum. The other team would catch some momentum and get back in the game and it was 50/50 whether ND would win.
I think Elko and the defense have a lot to do with it, but Kelly deserves credit for hiring the new assistant

So beating Top 10 USC and their Heisman contendiing QB is not a big win? Tell me why are the games BK loses big games? But the ones he wins are not?

You know the answer, some fans on our board think we should win it every year. I will say this I expected a dog fight tonight and I was absolutely shocked to see how we dominated SC.
This is a top 10 team. It’s too bad some posters here can not enjoy this team.
Keep the CGVRs of the world away from us. Not gonna let those guys try to ruin this for everyone.
That guy is a legend in his own mind. Once, somebody called him "One of the Godfathers of the board". I nearly fell off my chair laughing.
