Autry Denson
Thus far he's shown to be an incredible and tireless recruiter with six Florida commitments thus far and got Ben Davis on campus and possibly going our way.
Can't underestimate what a African American former player and ND grad from Florida has on players families in the fertile recruiting grounds of the SE part of the USA.
Our running backs all had good to great years and he gets credit for that too.
Either get him head coaching experience at another program for a couple years or give him the job straight out like John Harbaugh who got a HC job without ever working as a coordinator.
He played under both Holtz and Davie so he saw first hand what works and what doesn't work as a head coach.
Get him to surround himself with great coordinators like Pete Carroll did and we'll go on a ten year run like USC did or Alabama is doing now.
For us to be having our potentially best recruiting class yet in spite of another disappointing year goes mostly to him and what he's already done for this program.
He's a future star that will be everything that Ty Willingham wasn't.
For once ND be smart and make the move to him after another predicable four loss season next year.
