I cannot for the life of me understand why his finals record is the end all, be all in the argument against him as one of the GOAT. Yes, I get that he is 2-4 in the finals. Isn't it awesome to get there 6 times, and 5 in a row--which has never been done? Would it be more impressive to you if he was 2-0 or 3-0 and missed the playoffs/lost first round the other 3 or 4 times? 2 of those finals losses have been demonstrated to have been attained with 2 of the worst teams in the last 30 years to make the finals (2007 Cleveland, 2015 Clev), and one was against one of the best teams of all time (2014 Spurs). His only bad loss IMO was against Dallas. And now, in the most recent finals loss, he had the most dominating performance of all time, and he is STILL ripped, for what the last 5 minutes of a game when the team win probability was probably less than 2%? LMAO.
Tom Brady suffers from the same plight and it is absurd. 4-2 in Super Bowls is better than Montana's 4-0 IMO b/c he made 2 more! Both of his losses were on his defense (or absurdly lucky plays by the Giants). He would have been ripped if he was 3-3 and lost to the Seahawks.
All of you are prisoners to a short-sighted media argument and it is just not rationale.
And I do think he will win 2 more before his career is over.
