First two rounds this year had players drafted from Texas Tech, TCU, maryland, iowa, iowa state, kansas state, illinois, boston college, utah, kentucky, syracuse, ole miss, oregon state, georgia tech, north dakota state, south carolina, ucla, smu, miami, and minnesota.

You don't have to go to the powerhouse schools to get drafted early. Going to powerhouse schools gives you better odds if you can become a starter and beat out other talented players.
