Purdue parted ways with Hazell after a stint of Purdue of 9-33. Harrell was 3-3 this season.

Interesting firing a coach who had his most wins at Purdue, never a big fan of firing mid season based on performance.

Do they believe they can attract a big name? I always thought they were a 6 win program at best.

Purdue used to win 9 games a year fairly often in the late 90's early 00's (remember "basketball on grass"?). They have enough money to attract some up and comer. Think maybe Jeff Brohm of Western Kentucky. And if the new coach turns Purdue around, then some bigger program will attempt to poach.

No body gives a crap about Purdue.
unfortunately...many these days don't give a crap about Notre Dame either. Results matter.

Purdue is one of 2 schools that have produced 3 different super bowl winning quarterbacks. The other school being Alabama.

Purdue is the perfect example of coaching matters. Tiller wins. Find another Tiller. Tiller could have won a NC at ND
