I think IU out and Ole Miss definitely out of CFP. I think ND gets a home game vs Alabama or Georgia if ND wins out

The SEC has a handful of legitimate top 12 teams that are going to be left out in place of far weaker teams. This is only going to stoke the "exclusive scheduling" fire between them and the big10 that there are rumors of.

There's no excuse regardless. If you got the talent, you just gotta win. However, I think you can make the argument that playing the lower ranked teams in the SEC is a bigger challenge than playing thr lower ranked teams from Big 12 or ACC. Sometimes I think a team loses not because they weren't good enough, but because it's just hard to beat talented teams weekly. It's the same reason why you never see anyone in the NFL go undefeated. Better teams lose to weaker teams all the time.

Why are people acting like Florida is some crap tier team at the bottom of the ACC?

Florida is ranked 29th in F+ and have back to back wins vs two really good teams (Ole Miss & LSU)

Ole Miss definitely is. I don't know about IU, I don't think that's fair. If they can match our 66-7 thrashing of Purdue, I think they're back in. Or at least approximate it. Where does their SOS rank against ours? Our margin of victory is about the same. Our seasons are about the same. But we do have that precious A&M win. But also have the 'bad loss' to NIU. How does that compare to losing to tOSU by twenty?

The difference between 30th and 60th in F+ is pretty marginal because it’s normally distributed

You're a complete fool. You should actually read the drivel you post. F+ is garbage and not used. wins and losses and head to head matter period. NO ONE CARES IF AN OFFENSE PRODUCES 500 YARDS IN A GAME. ALL THAT MATTERS IS THE FINAL SCORE.

Can't speak for the committee, but I doubt that IU has any chance. We saw FSU get excluded from the playoffs last year and they were undefeated. It's clear that part of what goes into the decision is who can be competitive in the playoffs.

You mean the same Florida that got destroyed by ACC Miami? Florida is a crappy bottom tier sh1t SEC team

I know. I think they're effed. They needed it to be closer than that. All of the CFB cognoscenti was sharpening their knives this week ready to chop their resume to pieces. And they needed at least a close game to keep the hounds at bay. Where you're wrong is the good faith you attribute to the committee, who doesn't give a shit about who's competitive or not. They just don't want IU in the playoff because they suck and they're nobody. They don't carry any CFB cachet, and the powers that be of course are going to cater to the SEC and will look for any rationale to put their preferred brands into the field. Obviously that's the case, as was with FSU. As if they're going to be sitting their in their committee room with frowns on their faces, as they grapple to put teams into the bracket that could actually be competitive on the field, and that's the only reason IU's not going to get a bid.

IU's not part of the club, that's why they're not getting in.

Money decides everything.

The Indiana defense looked like it could hand but they had no answers for the oho state blitz. That game was really won by the Ohio state special teams

You sound like ESECPN. They play outside of conf and don’t look so good.

Yes, they have a few teams that can win it all but at some point if your losing 3 in the conference your not gonna when in the playoff so it takes care of itself. Just like Michigan took care of the SEC last year.

T&AM lost at home to ND. Miami beat the dog shit out of FL. LSU lost to USC.

Nobody with 3 losses is or should get it IMHO.

Indiana had to play error free ball and not make any flubs and they could not do it

But for those idiots that say they are already out of it, I would remind the numbskulls that the committee actually looks closer than the score to games and Indiana fought OSU pretty much even for a full half and then OSU really needed special teams for the margin.

OSU wanted to make sure of a home game and they got it today I think
IU is not out of it except for the SEC morons here
