Hope so. I think Watts starts at one safety, but think we really need another experienced player next to him. Going into last season, I thought Henderson might be the guy, but his cover skills are still lacking. Possible that incoming freshman Shuler will be a really good safety for us, but we need experience back there next to Watts. Harper can be that guy.
Ski,I think if we land Harper, we might have our best defensive backfield in years. What say you?

Harper is a cover/free safety that can play nickel, watts is more of a strong safety.
I expect and hope those are your two starters with some people developing into the depth of those positions, shuler coming in should be immediately part of the depth i'd think

Harper is more nickel than safety. He might be starting safety based on need. But best case scenario is hes the nickel and provides depth at safety
CB - Morrison
CB - Hart
Nickel - Harper
S - Watts
S - Henderson
Thats most likely right now with Lewis and Mickey rotating at safety and corner

This is the likely start... I think henderson will be challenged by freshmen or Lewis if he moves.
Henderson has been awful and I don’t think he has abilities to improve enough… way too stiff and bad change of direction combined with mental mistakes
I can’t think of a good player he made this year where I thought, ok he has some abilities

I think he’s a gamer. I like him better than Joseph who really disappointed. I actually think cam hart is a bit over rated. Good, solid but not exceptional. So I love the potential of Morrison, Mickey, Gray and Bell. Yes, should be a very good secondary If we can get a d lineman maybe Anthony Lucas if he gets his head straight , or someone else, I like this team to challenge for natty

Now a couple of questions for the board
1- what is with Rocco spindled? Not good as we thought or will he bust out?
2- what is going to be the utilization of Kollie, Junior, Sneed, Botelho and Burnham n Zinter?
3/ will Luafau have a role cause he and Joseph were biggest 2022 disappointments
4- tyree - I say play him in slot and only as a rb for swing passes, screen pass, or end around or not at all. He is not a returner. He is not an up the middle guy.

Spindler has a couple of issues working against him. 1. He's not Harry's recruit. 2. Harry's recruits are really good and may keep him off the field
The only guy that Harry recruited this cycle that could come in and play early is Jagusah.
Schrauth, Carmody, Chan arent Harry recruits either
