Before we crucify Kelly, let's see how the season plays out. Last week everyone wanted Herman. Well he just got beat by Navy. Who's next? Like many of you, I am disgusted with the play of our Irish. However, I am not a bandwagon guy either way. The Irish had the talent to win every game they've played. 2-4 is unacceptable. But they also have the talent to win every game on the schedule going forward. My hope is that the administration will do the right thing and evaluate the program at the end of the season, which I believe they will.

Herman getting beat by Navy doesn't eliminate him. Houston was garbage before Herman and will be garbage after his players cycle out. Navy is a very real threat to beat ND and if that happens the ceiling on this team may be 4-8

my prediction is we defeat Stanford but lose to navy

The "ceiling" is not 5-7. You saw us play last year. Head to head we matched up well with our opponents. A little luck and we may have made the playoffs.

This season has been a nightmare... BUT... if we beat Stanford, and the players start believing in themselves, anything is possible. Not probable, but possible.

I think all the teams we have left are beatable with a good offensive performance and a decent defensive performance.

Wouldn't bet on it, but I'm hopeful. Don't give up hope.
