Ohio State: Buying or Selling?

Why would that sting? We own the head to head handily, and whooped on ND 38-0, 38-0 and 47-21 since 2000.

Anyway, my point is the big ten isn't easy, and going 10-5 under Kelly shows that.

Why would it sting? Because you were shooting your mouth off in the days leading up to the game (a game that concludes the series for the next several years), stating that Michigan would beat ND handily. I also remember you whining and crying like a little baby after the 2012 game. If it took you months to get over that loss, I'm sure last year's loss still must keep you up at night.

10-5 is winning 2/3 of those game. Not too shabby, I'd say. And where did I say that the Big Ten is easy? You were the oaf who claimed that ND routinely loses to the Big Ten (don't deny that you clearly thought that ND had a losing record against the Big Ten) , and tried to backpedal when you were shown to not know what you were talking about.

The point is made. If ND was in the big ten, they would never make the playoffs, because they would lose 2-4 games per year under BK.

Please tell me you didn't go to the University of Michigan with such pathetic logic skills. How old are you? Twelve?

Look, I am not here to start an argument. I am simply saying the notion that ND should join the big ten because it would be so "easy" is contradicted by ND's record. The big ten is not an easy conference. That is all.

I am not here to start an argument so I am just going to continue arguing in an argument I started.

So you have to have a losing overall record for the statement that ND loses regularly to the big ten to be accurate?

Can you explain what is illogical with my conclusion given ND's 26-20 record vs. the big ten in this millennium, while Kelly has a 10-5 record? Thanks.

You must be thinking of someone else. I never thought we were going to win last year's game because I thought Hoke was a horrible head coach. Thanks, in part, to that game, we now have a new coach. Much appreciated.

You cited Michigan's all time record vs ND. Why not cite the Big Ten's all time record vs ND? So you just cite what's convenient to support your facile argument, but don't use the same criterion if it makes you look bad. Now I get it. You obviously didn't realize Kelly's success against the Big Ten (and a .667 winning percentage against the Big Ten isn't shabby) when you made your original post. Nice attempt to backtrack though.

Yeah, you did. And you certainly didn't feel that way after the 2012 game when you whined and cried like a baby on this board months after that game. But whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Please refrain from this is a ND Football board type response as I'm well aware! The reason I pose this question is I'm completely unsold on OSU as an unanimous #1 and repeat champions. Why? Last year they played close games (Penn State), lost a game (VT) and overall play a pretty horrendous schedule! Synonymous with past super bowl winners, NCAA basketball champions it just takes getting hot at the right moment to win it all! Oregon simply forgot how to tackle and kicked field goals instead of touchdowns! In 2015, I think they're offense is blah and their defense is above average. Thoughts?

Again just by 2 cents coming from a ND fan!

they play nobody with that schedule- how can you pick against them? I thought the playoff committee was now counting SOS but we shall see.

It is hard to win 15 games in a row, no matter how good you are and how easy your schedule is. Which is likely what OSU will have to do this year. If you are giving me the field, I'll take the field.

Big Ten is a sissy conference. There is a reason it has been called for decades the Big 2 and the Little 8.

I always wonder how Penn St, Nebraska, and now Maryland & Rutgers feel about joining your conference yet the rest of the schools don't respect them enough to change the name?

that is where the saying 'one game at a time' comes into play. OU: 47

OSU and ezekiel elliott was able to run for 200+ yards on the last 3 games of the season in route to the championship. Challenge their run and you have a game on your hands.

You definitely have me confused with someone else, which is not surprising.
