Notre Dame - Stanford Game Thread

According to F+, Stanford is the 85th worst team in the country out of 133 FBs teams. Their defense is ranked 83rd.

Notre Dame has had to run 20+ plays just to put up 14 pts against this level of competition. Its not a sign that bodes well for their future when they play better teams.

FPI has Stanford even worse at #97 overall lol
Yet when the games are actually played those stats are worthless. Its why your analysis sucks balls.

You can't argue with the stats, im just really disappointed in the total lack of quick strike play making on offense. No way we successfully dink and dunk for 3 TDs against playoff level competition.
4 top ten teams last week would like a word sport.

It's evident that some serious work was done, during the bye week, with Riley Leonard on the short slant passes. He still shows he doesn't have deep ball touch, so go with what he can do and that's the quick slants and outs.

Agree, and this will most likely get ND into the playoffs with the schedule, but this will become an issue vs playoff teams.

It’s common knowledge freeman is soft on officials… and it’s common knowledge it shows how games are called against us under him

The official threw the flag on Morrison before he even touched him, and he never held

Two other flags in Stanford picked up that were penalties
