Notre Dame's continued search for defensive backs in the 2026 class has resulted in the Irish extending an offer to Penn State safety commit Matt Sieg.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Sieg reported a Notre Dame offer Thursday. He's been committed to Penn State since November.
Sieg stars at McDonald (Pa.) Fort Cherry at quarterback and safety. He threw for 1,350 yards and 20 touchdowns, rushed for 1,840 yards and 32 touchdowns and recorded 50 tackles and four interceptions last season while winning a WPIAL 1A championship.
