A lot of people on this board are critical of Notre Dame, coaches, administration, etc...
But in light of Baylor, Ole Miss among other teams lately, how awesome is our program as a whole?!
Name another program over the last 127 years with the success of Notre Dame without the violations or academic fraud?
ND has one Level 1 violation that was so weak even the NCAA didn't rule on it, a third party council of three people voted 2-1 it was a violation but could not define to ND what the actual violation was or a recommendation on how to prohibit it from happening again.
So basically ND has recruited, graduated, and won with top level, educated athletes without cheating. And even goes a little overboard with discipline to good players who self report or even players who meet NCAA standards but not ND standards. (See Julio Jones)
