New format sucks

The new format on the home page sux. Where's the depth chart? Access to forums? Twitter? Top 100? I shouldnt have to look for that stuff when it was previously all available on one page before.

The reason for it, I'm told, is they're now trying to design things for iPhones, iPads and the like, not necessarily for laptops and desktops any more.

It's actually great for mobile devices. I hated when I would acess the site and have to manually expand each link on my mobile phone, and to my dismay still click the wrong link.

look. I liked the loading of all the tweets...now nothing. This does suck. Create a Mobile HTML5 site plus a regular one for web browsers. I liked the regular site on my phone as I have my one browser set to "Desktop Mode".

If I want an APP or mobile experience I will go that way but the current format is horrible.

the site used to be ran by irish illustrated's pete sampson & tim prister (much better analysts than the current affiliation here now with blue & gold illustrated).

Total fail. Everyone is designing sites for mobile users now and it is totally screwing over people who use real computers. I stopped visiting ESPN (and other sites) after their redesign, now it looks like I might have to stop coming here.

i am an online marketer for a large ecommerce ... more and more people are using their mobile devices to browse the web (and its happening fast) so i don't blame them for optimizing the site for mobile devices.

HOWEVER

the best websites have a site optimized for desktop users AND mobile users (usually a subdomain that detects what device you are on then redirects you to a page optimized for that device -- whether it be mobile or desktop)

the people running rivals.com apparently aren't willing to invest in both ... and if they don't hurry they'll end up losing marketshare as a result.

Change is inevitable especially in electronics. Learn new things and avoid being set in your ways. Maintain an open mind.

Try hanging out with some young people and have them teach you what is going on. Old dogs really can learn new tricks. Try it and realize how a new association can breath new life into an old dog.

It took three tries before my mind accepted the fact that this was indeed Irish Illustrated. It lacks character and very bland in it's presentation. It's so 2015-16. It truly sucks!

This isn't Irish Illustrated, it's still Blue & Gold Illustrated! That might be your problem Ara!
