ND will be selling beer and alcohol to the public at football, basketball and hockey games.

So be prepared to spend $20 on a cold one.

I went to a Michigan Game last year...it was their first year selling beer and all was good as far as I could tell. I also went to a ND game and while I knew what to expect as I have been to many....it did seem that serving beer was long overdue.

More revenue means more money to players I welcome ND to modern reality lol

Funny but at the same time I respect how mired this university is to tradition--a part of catholicism (as a noncatholic)I've come to respect and admire visa vie Notre Dame football
How do you know that the revenue doesn’t go to a concessionaire?

If they weren't making revenue from it, they wouldn't be doing it.

They are going to make money from it and should improve the atmosphere some in the stadium

Win win

Yes Love, Notre Dame will be selling beer and other alcoholic beverages at its football, hockey, and basketball games beginning with the 2025 season.

Just the 1000th example of how ND does not have a different vision than the rest of college football, we just drag our feet years behind theirs.

The different vision is ND kids actually have to go to class, take real classes and do well in those classes. I think that's always been the major difference

They've run out of hot dogs at football games.
They've run out of hot chocolate at the first cold game.
They've run out of fish on a lenten Friday before half time of the first game of a WNCAA tourney double header.

How is adding alcohol to all that going to improve service?

When I was in high school in the Devine/Faust era, I worked the ushering squad.
Every game, some guy set up a table to mix and distribute drinks... just outside the usher office.
I never saw anyone say boo to him/them.

Not everything they do generates revenue

How will it improve the atmosphere?
