What is his philosophy - the likelihood of game breaking returns is very minimal and the risk of fumbled/botched returns is much higher, so I want a guy back there who will always safely catch the punt even if he is incapable of a game breaking return?
I do not think ND can beat two teams of the caliber of Alabama (Clemson, Ohio State) in consecutive weeks without a game breaker at WR or special teams. Tyree is a threat on kick returns but so many are touchbacks these days. I really think the lack of a game breaker at punt returner will hurt ND
