Not the defense tonight, it's all on the offense. 19 total points in the first half was almost too much to overcome.

I think you need to check the Wisky point total before you start whining about defense and offensive rebounding. The Irish were behind because they couldn't find the basket in the first half.

What are you talking about? ND couldn't get a shot to fall in the first half, but you weren't watching the game if you thought Wisconsin's offensive rebounding wasn't killing ND.

I'm gonna make one more post tonight so i don't feel like banging my head against the wall. You can't do much about shots not falling. You can do something about giving up rebounds on defense. Both had a factor into why they were down. Effort can only make a difference in one.
Ok, one more just because this was completely asinine. If ND is down, shooting %'s aren't the only reason for it. Not sure how that's so hard to understand. You don't think wins and losses are indicative of a good pitcher, do you?

WTF is wrong with you? A lot of people here followed the basketball team. Unlike you, however, most of us were pulling for ND to win.
What makes you so confident? Does it count as being on the board even if one doesn't post often? If so, I've been following ND basketball this season. Just saying. Jeez.

Brey coached teams play a fluid passing unselfish style that is a pleasure to watch. Wisconsin successfully disrupted this for much of the first half. Halftime adjustments got us into the paint and into a better flow, and Jackson stepped up big after a terrible first half. Personally think this team has overachieved in the tourney and getting to the elite eight is more than a pleasant surprise. Brey can flat out coach and is likable as all heck, and is a great rep for ND and all it stands for. Hope back to back elite eight provides a huge shot in the arm for recruiting.
