The NCAA just created a new OV policy that will take effect in August.

Under the current OV policy, recruits are limited to 5 OVs. This has resulted in highly recruited prospects having to make some tough decisions as to where they would take their OVs.

Under the new policy, recruits can take an unlimited number of OVs, though they are limited to 1 OV per school. If there is a coaching change, they can take a second OV. Schools are still limited to 56 OVs per year.

MIght this new policy help ND get more 5* prospects to visit ND? I suppose if we weren't already in their top 5 that doesn't bode well toward signing them, but getting them to make a visit might change that.

I guess that means that top-rated players will take some visits away from second-tier players overall. I'm not sure how it will impact schools like Notre Dame, who will likely get more visits from top-rated players.
