A young talented LSU team is on a roll with three straight wins over Auburn, Florida, and Ole Miss. with the best back in the Nation, besides Josh Adams and Dexter Williams,
Derrius Guice who is back 100% healthy ! And off a 276 yard performance last week against the rebs ! I look for Danny Etling to have the game of his life as he connects for pass after pass to LSU's outstanding young receivers as Alabama fruitlessly attempts to stop Guice by putting 8 in the box !
LSU 27 Alabama 26... The eye of the Tigers wins out as the players carry big Ed Ogeron off the field !! Down goes Bama ! Down goes Bama !! For you degenerate gamblers Bama is favored by 24 ( You could make a killing on this point spread)

It is all one big set up game. LSU gets throttled by Miss. St. and Troy and all of a sudden they get to play Alabama for the sec west lead. What do you say? The kicker for Florida misses an extra point to tie the game but nothing is mentioned about that. Auburn takes a dive in the second half against them. The qb for Auburn can only complete two passes the whole second half, come on, get real. Then Ole Miss lets LSU run through them. The Alabama/LSU game was set up at the beginning of the year to be another "game of the century." And I have LSU plus 24.5. ABC/ESPN will keep the game close for tv viewing audience. Alabama could beat them by at least 40 if football was legit.

This is the type of game where Saban and Bama make a statement. Bama big.
Well true if this was the bama of yesterday. Today however Bama is one if the most one dimensional teams in the country.

Check out their third down stats. Whoa!
Their QB is like 3 for 24 on passes if 20 Yards or more.

That's worse than BW ahd that's saying a lot because BW and all love to him is piss poor accurate. BW is a better runner than the Bama QB.

BW is a tailback who happens to throw some.

Lastly... The ONE decent team Bama played was A&M and only won by 8.

So please spare me their domination. The upper sec is tough, the middle and lower are lousy football teams.

I'm not trying to start an argument. I agree their schedule is weak and they have less signature wins than most top teams. Didn't realize Hurts was struggling that mightily in the passing game. This is the type of game where Saban usually send a message. They still have a legit defense however LSU just might not be very good either. The only time I've seen Bama outplayed recently with something big on the line was Ohio St a few years ago in the playoff and Clemson last year. Lost to National champions. Those teams had superman performances from Elliot and Watkins. Sorry man I still have nightmares from 2012 when I think of Bama.

Remember this...

We were a destiny team in 12

We caught lightning in a bottle.

Lots of luck helped us. The stanford call...maybe was in...maybe not.

The Pitt game field goal with two of our #5 players on the field at once. They missed the kick. It would have been automatic first down from illegal participation.

How times did Rees spell Golson to get our offense jump started?

I loved the twelve team. The players in defense. Awesome.

But in 12 we were luckier than good.

Present day we are more good than luck.

I'm the one who pointed it out.

His numbers are very skewed.

He is like 3 for 24 on twenty yard plus attempts.
He over throws worse than BW.

The other stats the coaching staff calls plays to his strength. Short easy safe passes.

Alabama doesn't allow many 3rd down conversions but ironically they gave their very own third down struggles....against that Daisy schedule.

That schedule is a joke. Scrimmage games every other week.

I'm sorry but I will NOT attend the Bama ass kissing party.

Thanks.

Absolutely your right to feel that way. Yet i would argue, in your opinion? BW is managing games efficiently? Yes?

So how is Hurts any different? Great defense, better than previous Bama offense, great ground game. Sounds awefully familiar?

It's ok to love your team and respect what a team like Bama has done for 10 yrs now!

After all I'm sure You, Me and the rest of the guys here would take that 10 yr stretch in a heartbeat!

Impossibilty i apologize hit the wrong name. No need for the sarcasm. I am a ND fan. Was simply pointing out Hurts and Wimbush are statistically similiar.

I Just dont find any reason to speak down on a player that statistically mirrors, and has many of the growing pains as our young QB.

Guess I just see the irony in speaking of Hurts struggles, when we are so much closer to what Bama has been for sometime. Smashmouth offense. Opportunistic Defense/Stingy, physically overpowering. Also more game managers at Qb than dynamic threats whether Pro style or DT. My view anyway.

That would be pretty sweet, especially since I have a close friend who lives in Ville Platte and is an LSU fan. I just don't see it happening, though. I think LSU will have done well if Bama fails to cover the point spread.

That said, this is yet another time I hope I'm wrong. Go Tigers!
