Some folks just don't understand the game.
They don't like them, they have to resort to adding them because of their failure to recruit enough players and retain them from season to season

He's likely playing field role...all he's got to do is be able to run a post a few times a year to match merriweather production... The fact he has shown a willingness to compete for the ball is a big upgrade . .
No he doesn't have merriweathers upside but for a one year rental he should match his expectations for next year if not exceed them

One wr and rb are fast

Fisher is gone. Schrauth will most likely be a starter at guard. Not sure on Baker
Yes but he was talking about the starting. We will have a fast RB, we will have probably one fast WR starting (unless faison wins starting role at Slot), and TE raridon used to be a freak athlete, hasn't shown that yet on the field since his injuries. Yeah he looked good, but not a freak like he used to be.
Neither Mitchell or Faison are elite speed that will overly scare a D. Love is, price is fast, not sure if elite though.
FIson has elite quickness which is more important for the slot. And he's probably a 4.4 guy
But yes we need even more speed. Cam has it and will push to get on the field early
Yes, i just don't want people thinking we're all of a sudden going to be trotting out a WR group like Bama has had in the past, OSU, or Washington this year with WRs "flying" around all over. We have the potential with one or two more portal WRs to have a very good group, but they aren't first few round NFL talent (other than possibly Cam Williams).
That OL will likely look very different.
Jagusah, Wagner, Schrauth, Pendleton, Absher could all be in the mix.
