Mike Singer predicts Bear Bachmeir all Irish

IMO Notre Dame does indeed shop down a different aisle, one that dudes like 6-Star(if there was a sixth star) QB Dante Moore and 5-Star DE Keon Keeley don't hang out in.

And BK beat Nick Saban in 2022 on his way to an SEC West title. We can all cherry pick.
Yet 0-2 against FSU in last 12 months, with losses to a 7 loss A+M team, as well as blowout losses to Tenn and UGA

No cherry-picking

oh and 4-15 vs top 10 teams since 2010. 😂

Let's compare that to a real great coach:
During his 11 seasons, Lou Holtz coached in 24 games featuring Top 10 matchups. His record in these games was 16-7-1 (68.8%). Additionally, he coached in 3 games featuring #1 vs #2, and amazingly won all of them: 1993 #2 vs #1 Florida St (W 31-24); 1989 #1 vs #2 Michigan (W 24-19); and 1988 #1 vs #2 USC (W 27-10).

Now compare Lou Holtz to Frank Leahy, who captured 4 titles at Notre Dame with a .864 winning percentage.

Comparing head coaches in different coaching eras is ludicrous.

If Mississippi State beats LSU....that will be fantabulous. I will enjoy the Cajun fireworks like its Fourth of July.

No it's not. Unlike you, I prefer to make comparisons with those that were successful. You on the other hand compare Kelly's tenure to the unsuccessful coaches to prop him up to some faux standard. Sorry, but the standard is Rockne, Leahy, Ara, Holtz, and I'd even throw Devine in there. Kelly doesn't make the cut.

And now Knight will be visiting ND next weekend for the OSU game. Interesting timing. I wonder if this means ND is pressuring Knight to commit now.

He’s going to the twerking hall of fame!

1. ND and Deuce did not part ways. We are still recruiting him and in his top group. He just wants to wait

2. ND offered Bear while we were the leader or co leader for Deuce because they really like him

3. ND doesn't think there is a big difference between the 2 because they said first one to commit gets the spot

4. Anything can happen still. It's not over with either, good or bad
🤷‍♂️

Oh nice, just another day as an ND fan. Miss your top targets settle for lesser rated lower on the board plan Bs and Cs.

And then ND fans wonder why we can't beat the teams that beat us on the recruiting trail for our plan As
Good call !

Bump

This baked well from 4 days ago

The next question is does Bear commit or go. ND would have two top 10 QB`s

Glad ND took the Deuce opposed to Bear. Minchey and Carr are both pro style. Nice to have an athlete in the QB room to be versatile.
I prefer pro style QB's who are pass first, accurate guys. And I do not see that here.

Outstanding athlete like I said.

Mr. Gloom & Doom with his usual dose of paranoia and dark thoughts.

Eh, I’m on his side for this one. In the recent past, we’ve settled for the easier get than the more talented prospect IMO. I mean Brian Kelly flat out admitted he wouldn’t have even tried to go after Sneed. If we’re truly going to play with the elites of college football, we need elite talent to work with. I’m not saying we haven’t landed a ton of quality players, because we absolutely have, but we need to start getting more top tier guys though. Hanging onto the ones we do get verbals from would be a nice start

Ex:
Kelley
Bowen

He was wrong and talking out of his a**

About ND needing to get more tier 1 guys? There’s nothing wrong with that IMO.

I didn’t read the whole thread though so maybe I missed something
No. About the current QB situation. What he was saying about that situation was wrong

Gotcha, I didn’t read that part if he said something there.

I do LOVE the fact that we’re back to trying to get Tier 1 guys again under Freeman. Recruiting had gotten a little too lazy over the past few years. Arrows are pointing up and if we can get a big win or two, Watch out!

Stanford was ecstatic last season with the Marcus Freeman hire.
As was Tulsa in 2010, USF in 2011, Pitt in 2013, ASU/NW/Ville in 2014, two-thirds of the schedule in 2016, Miami in 2017, and Cincy in 2021.

All games that ND was favored

So give it a rest

His retort is going to be 10 years 100 million guaranteed, like that somehow magically translates to Kelly being a great coach. lol
Many schools have overpaid for head coaches, we don't need to look far with Notre Dame and Weis.

Marshall as well. When you lose to Marshall and Stanford at home in the same season, don't throw stones.

I don't know, losing to two thirds of the schedule in year 7 in a coaches tenure is hard to beat, but hey 10 years 100 million right, isn't that your answer to any criticism? Let me ask, how much of that 100 million are you getting?

And when you play Oklahoma State in a bowl game, win.
