AmenTwo great schools, two great programs, a dead even series since the 1970s, and located on each other's doorstep. Plus, lots of good old fashioned hate on both sides. I.E.: natural rivals.
IMO, college football is better when we play.

The vast majority of stuff I shrug off. But no, not everything.
And if you are going to be so deadly serious, a question for you: why aren't you admonishing the ND fans who behave like teenagers?
I guess that means the two times we beat ND 38-0 should have really been 44-0.

I was trying to stay with current events. But hey, let's open the way back machine. How did that terrible coach Tyrone Willingham do against Lloyd Carr?
I was trying to include all events in the series. But I can understand why you would prefer to cherry pick.
Also, Happy Easter to everyone.
Go Blue!
I don't think it is the greatest. But it was a good game and a quality rivalry. And with JH at Michigan could help the ND schedule. Besides. It isnt like the Michigan fans are going to stay away from here. Michigan lost what should have been 37-0 last outing and they still have a half dozen posters on here talking about the 1880's
I think one home and home every eight to ten years would be great. That way you are never too far from the next series.I know some here think it was the greatest rivalry around. I do not.

1880's? How about we just look past the most recent game. Past 2 games? 3 games? 5 games? 7 games? All time? Any which way you look at it UM comes out on top. You really have to pick and choose your spots to see it any other way. Don't forget, Jelly Belly KeLLLy is 2-3 versus UM at a time we were down. Nobody realistically believes he (or the Irish) will fare better with Harbaugh now gracing our sidelines. Just be honest about it. And I agree with many of you here who don't really care if the series is revived or not. ND can surely get other suitable teams to play and I know I'd much prefer to visit venues and recruit in places not named South Bend, Indiana. Let's let sleeping dogs lie. #GoBlue.
Sincerely yours,
