Vegas has thought otherwise about UW often this year. Including Friday nightVegas thinks otherwise.
Oh man you are opening up that can of worms?Where do they say those teams dont have a chance to win it?
Agree, I wanted this shit to happen 10 years ago so we could get rid of this 4 team playoff BS. I love it, just wish it would have happened years ago. No dominate team this year, 8 teams deserving, would have been great playoffThis is the most wide open playoff I can remember, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if any of them won it all.
I’ve NEVER thought that before, most years there are one or two teams that are clearly superior to the rest. Bama and Clemson for 5-6 years, then add UGA, even 2019 I was certain it’d be LSU even though I had hoped Clemson would upset the Tigers.
I don’t know the actual numbers but it seems like the favorites win a high percentage and by significant margins in the semifinals. I saw somewhere the average semifinal margin of victory was almost 20 points. Also, by favorite, I don’t necessarily mean higher seeded. There were games in which teams like Bama, UGA, Clemson were the lower seed but “favored” to win and did by big margins.
