I’m still really shocked about what happened versus Stanford and Marshall because this Notre Dame team is just physically better than most teams and when you’re physically better you shouldn’t lose to two teams you can dominate on both lines of scrimmage.

This game, the UNC game, the Syracuse game, the BYU game….just a lot of domination.

I’m very excited about the future.

The Team that played the last two games looks like a championship contender. It took Freeman a little time to develop, but the coaching staff has done a great Job ! On offense dominant line play, speed and power at RB, good QB, excellent receivers! On defense , in short, aggressive and very talented, and creates turnovers ! We can go undefeated if this ND team shows up the rest of our games ! I thought that ND had turned the corner when Pyne took over, but I never thought
ND would be this Good !

Nah, I disagree. Nobody thinks Clemson beats ND if they play again. ND likely beat UNC by more than Clemson will too. We also looked better against Syracuse.

It's funny you mention the Ok St. game. I had saved that on my DVR since last year, and yesterday I rewatched the second half before deleting it. In the fourth quarter, it definitely appears that Freeman is calling the defensive plays.

I wrote a post earlier this week saying this was a huge game for Marcus Freeman, getting to 6-3 and heading into USC 8-3, ranked, would create a real opportunity to salvage a season that looked like a disaster 3 weeks ago. He righted the ship, He deserves the full credit

Now, since i do not have the emotional maturity of 2nd grader, and the football acumen of a Kindergartener, like yourself. I can also say big ups to Brian Kelly on knocking off Alabama and the GOAT. I hope they both win National Titles, BK fished ND out of a 16-year toilet bowl of irrelevance. Rebuilt the program to CFP contention and left the place 10x better than he found it.

Truthfully, any ND fan would does not acknowledge that, is not a ND fan. I honestly hope Freeman and Kelly both have massive success. I hope Kelly wins every game he coaches, except against ND.

The difference is, I don't care about Brian Kelly and what he does. I haven't started a single thread about him since December of 2021. It's for some reason YOU that seem to have some weird infatuation for BK. He was at ND 12 seasons and he's won nothing of significance. He still hasn't won anything, even at LSU. Last I checked ND measures success by championships, not 10 win seasons. LSU is the same but they have a much shorter window for that to occur.

It was a great victory. A great step forward for a challenged Freeman now finding his stride.

Kudos to CBK too. I don’t understand why congratulating this former coach who did a lot for Notre Dame invokes personal hostility.

Just talked with EX nfl qb and heisman winner at airport. Said MF is young but is a great coach from everything he knows and has heard. ND is on way back to prominence. Loves the recruiting class. Said USC is going to be tough. He thought Clemson shouldn’t have been 4, more like #10.
