Men's Lax. #1 ND vs #2 MD

Lost 11 - 10

Actually ND seemed to have out played MD ... won the face-off battles 18 - 6, had more shots than MD 43 - 29 (but shots on goal were 27-20). Big difference was the MD goalie ... he made 17 saves, several at point blank) ours only made 9 saves.

Right now, this years team doesn't seem to measure up to our team from the past 2 years. But its still early in the season and coach C can possibly get them back to playing at championship level before the season ends.

Played sloppy (too many offsides), handed them a man-up goal, missed an open netter, and our superstar (CK) had two point blank shots stopped in the final quarter. Learn from this one and move on. Faison had a nice goal to get us within one and Matt Jeffrey made a great pass to Kavanagh with 10 seconds left, goalie made a great save. Lynch was awesome. Still feeling good about this team. It is a very balanced top 7 this year.
