Hard dunking 5 star would be nice!Saw the Irish got a commitment from 4 star Brady Koehler from Indy Cathedral and is in the Final 3 for 5 star Jalen Haralson from LaLumiere and Fishers.
Thoughts on Haralson choosing ND, will the Irish get him?
I haven't given a crap about the Notre Dame basketball team in a long time now that they got a five-star prospect I'll definitely be tuning inHaralson is Irish!
Sounds like a fair weather fan.I haven't given a crap about the Notre Dame basketball team in a long time now that they got a five-star prospect I'll definitely be tuning in
Woo Hoo! I had read on X a day ago that he was trending in IU's favor...glad to hear that Haralson is Irish!Haralson is Irish!
Awesome...a zero star poster is interested in ND hoops.I haven't given a crap about the Notre Dame basketball team in a long time now that they got a five-star prospect I'll definitely be tuning in
I have followed Irish basketball through the good and bad (some really bad) years...for all of us loyal ND basketball fans...stay off the bandwagon!I haven't given a crap about the Notre Dame basketball team in a long time now that they got a five-star prospect I'll definitely be tuning in
Yes…yes…coach Shrew was adamant that he could recruit Indiana basketball talent to ND. Haralson is a great get, not only for his immediate impact on the floor as a freshman, but the positive noise this creates around Shrew and ND basketball. Here’s a young man with expectations of playing in the NBA, who buys into Shrew’s NBA resume. With Koehler and Haralson in the fold, let’s go for the trifecta!I have followed Irish basketball through the good and bad (some really bad) years...for all of us loyal ND basketball fans...stay off the bandwagon!
Yup. You are more of a Prime fan…I haven't given a crap about the Notre Dame basketball team in a long time now that they got a five-star prospect I'll definitely be tuning in
Yes! I have kabitched for years about ND not going after more home grown talent. I was thrilled with Coach Shrews hire and have high hopes for the future of ND basketball.Yes…yes…coach Shrew was adamant that he could recruit Indiana basketball talent to ND. I saw Haralson play in the FIBA and noticed that he was from Indiana. I said to myself thatSaw the Irish got a commitment from 4 star Brady Koehler from Indy Cathedral and is in the Final 3 for 5 star Jalen Haralson from LaLumiere and Fishers.

I watch Haralson play for team USA in the FIBA tournament. He is that dude!!!. I said to myself that it would be a phenomenal feat, if Notre Dame were to land him. Truth be told, I didn't think that we would pursue him. I am so glad to be wrong - Great Job Coach!!! Go Irish!!!!Saw the Irish got a commitment from 4 star Brady Koehler from Indy Cathedral and is in the Final 3 for 5 star Jalen Haralson from LaLumiere and Fishers.

Now imagine what getting 5 star prospects to ND football would do ?Yes…yes…coach Shrew was adamant that he could recruit Indiana basketball talent to ND. There are MANY low key ND basketball fans out there -- just like me -- ready to root for a top prospect in the game. It will add instant credibility to the ND basketball program, and fans will turn out.I have followed Irish basketball through the good and bad (some really bad) years...for all of us loyal ND basketball fans...stay off the bandwagon!
I couldn't agree more. I don't think the football-only fans of ND realize how much Indiana punches above its weight when it comes to basketball recruits. IU, Kentucky, Michigan St., and Purdue have dominated the region for top recruits, but there's no reason we can't step in there with the right coach and approach. Here's hoping this means that Shrews is our guy!Yes! I have kabitched for years about ND not going after more home grown talent. I was thrilled with Coach Shrews hire and have high hopes for the future of ND basketball.
Really looking forward to the Women's Irish team this year...that backcourt should be amazing!
Your implication is that he’s getting NIL money. Do you know? This was a BIG TIME GET for the ND basketball program. There's no way this kid signed without some kind of NIL guarantee.
It happened under the new AD who commented on an off-season podcast the importance of ND having to compete in NIL in order to level the playing field. He stressed the importance of bringing ND back to national championship relevancy (because thats how he would be evaluated for his job).
This is easily one of the biggest gets -- in terms of the rarity of the prospect -- in the men's basketball and football programs (combined) in a long time. Fingers crossed this is a sign of something greater going forward for the ND athletic department than merely an isolated/individual event.
If the women stay healthy, they could make a serious run in the NCAA Tourney!Yes! I have kabitched for years about ND not going after more home grown talent. I was thrilled with Coach Shrews hire and have high hopes for the future of ND basketball.

We might struggle against the best bigs in women’s basketball, but we should really be able to push the pace and make others play at our tempo. As you say, the backcourt should be amazing, and entertaining as hell. Looking forward to this.Yes! I have kabitched for years about ND not going after more home grown talent. The women's season begins October 30th. That's going to be must see basketball for me!We might struggle against the best bigs in women’s basketball, but we should really be able to push the pace and make others play at our tempo. As you say, the backcourt should be amazing, and entertaining as hell. Looking forward to this.
I recall your frequent kabitching in years past about ND not going for home grown talent, and I never appreciated the football talent pool in Indiana until we started going after this. We’ve benefited immensely from this, and happy to see Shrew following suit.
Next year. IU fans are quite salty over the Haralson commitment. Certainly looks like ND men's basketball is trending up.Stupid question. Are these guys available to play this upcoming season or next year?
Thanks!Next year. IU fans are quite salty over the Haralson commitment. Certainly looks like ND men's basketball is trending up.
That will have a huge impact on our F+++- rating. 🤣Shrew hit the Trifecta! Ryder Frost is third commit this week, and all three top 100 prospects visited ND together a few months ago.
Of course he will be. All three of the new commits will be receiving NIL money.Your implication is that he’s getting NIL money. Do you know?
Top 100 player and CENTER Ahneman just committed. Shrew has just put together the best recruiting class I can recall in ND men’s basketball. Four top 100 players with complimentary skills and size. Wowsers as my wife would say.Now if he can sign the big man and point guard he is after this will be a program changing class.
Was reading X and cracking up over fans from other programs scoffing if Irish fans thought ND could win a natty in basketball. I replied with a why not with a brief explanation of Coach Shrews Hoosier roots and Hoosier Hysteria . 😁Top 100 player and CENTER Ahneman just committed.
