Based on reports, the staff appears to be shaping up like this:

Head Coach Brian Kelly
Offensive Line Harry Hiestand
Running Backs Autry Denson
Tight Ends Scott Booker
Offensive Co. / QB's Mike Sanford
Wide Receivers / Asst HC Mike Denbrock
Defensive Co. / Safeties Brian VanGorder
Defensive Line Keith Gilmore
Linebackers Mike Elston
Cornerbacks Todd Lyght

Coach Elliott will have a non coaching role with emphasis on recruiting

The surprise to me is Sanford being the O coordinator and not also the Assis HC

All this is a best guess. Got to believe CBK is going to announce this coming week, maybe Monday or sooner

Love having Lyght and Denson coming back

And Maurice Crum helping Elston as a grad Assis is a bonus

I still want the Rocket to come back

What a staff. I think they will excel in player Dev, recruiting, and execution.

Execution of 12 teams in 2015

Go Irish

Brings a smile when one thinks back to the posts blaming Kelly for the exodus, and predicting doom and gloom, a failed recruiting season ahead, etc.... Kelly has assembled a really good staff and nicely balanced that should appeal to many recruits.

What 348 said. Win. How much longer or how many more excuses? It's year six. Prove it on the field Kelly.

Bro

I give credit to Denbrock for being a team player.

While I love the Sanford hire but I'm still I bit perplexed by hiring a guy who's entire career has been spent running pro-style offenses.

Maybe that's an indication that Kelly wants to transition his offense a bit? Maybe he's not as married to the spread as we think?

This is all great, but no one has been confirmed. So there is a chance that someone might not get cleared. You all know how our administration works. I will reserve applause until it is final.

I prefer pro-style. Would like to see more from the running game. No reason why we shouldn't be able to pound the football with our offensive line and backs.

I believe it was at least 2 weeks before Van Gorder was announced last year...think ND goes way beyond what is necessary now since the O'Leary incident.

So ND hired some coaches to replace some other coaches. And they've been tagged saviors. Would anyone here have mentioned any of the three as people we'd want here a month ago?
How is it possible you haven't learned yet? How can you already predIct 12-0?

"How can you already predict 12-0?"

Easy -- I think ND will be 12-0 and be in the playoffs next fall.

your spot on; the staff can be terrific individually but as a unit can the sum of the parts together be greater than the individuals.
A staff is a team, just like the players are a team; will they gel? how long will it take? These are unanswered questions at this time.
I cannot think of a single hire that fans lamented, "he sucks"! Each hire is welcome with enthusiasm on the way in- on the way out ...not so much.

The credentials of these additions are reason for hope but the success will be in the results. WIN NOW.

Go Irish

ND almost did it ! last second losses to Clemson in death valley and the game at Stanford ! 2017 will be redemption !! 12 and 0 in 17 ! Go Irish !!

Nice to have Bodi bring the board back to arguing about stars and recruiting and predicted record and kool aid drinking and negative nannies and Kelly lovers and haters, etc... instead of politics. I love politics as much or more than most, but love to come here to read different perspectives on ND football, and to discuss same. Now, as for 12-0.......
