I've confirmed that Notre Dame men's basketball is expected to host 2025 point guard Azavier Robinson Monday.
Robinson is rated as a three-star but ranked as the No. 74 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class. He attends Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North, the same school that produced Greg Oden and Mike Conley.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect is right in the backyard of my hometown and I've watched him play multiple times since he was in middle school. He's a very competitive guard who has a knack for getting to the rim.
It's becoming clear head coach Micah Shrewsberry is prioritizing in-state talent. Robinson could leave his visit with an offer. He'd become the third in-state 2025 target of the Irish, joining five-star guard Jalen Haralson of Fishers (Ind.) High and four-star forward Trent Sisley of Santa Claus (Ind.) Heritage Hills.
Robinson holds nine offers from East Carolina, IUPUI, Indiana State, Northern Illinois, Oklahoma State, St. John's, TCU, Texas-Arlington and UCF. He's also receiving interest from Indiana, Purdue and Wisconsin.
