It's time to go after Billy Donovan. Throw a lot of money at him. There is no confidence or toughness in this team. Sir Mohammed was highly rated and contributes nothing to this team. I expect the same next year with the incoming freshman. I don't know why the 3 ball is a large part of the offense when the guys shooting them are low 3 star players. St John's was a doormat until they got Pitino now they are top 10.

Because analytics have decided that unless you are shooting a lay up or dunk, shooting a 3 ball is the most productive thing to do. Metrics are further ruining basketball.
The bigger issue to me is the appalling lack of improvement as the season progresses. I don't think anyone expected them to make the tournament. Thought they could be a slightly better than a .500 team. Where's the energy ? Where's the creativity ? They don't do ANYTHING well. The culture looks lazy and unimaginative. Starts at the top.
Well said. BTW. Did anyone see Shrewsberry's Q&A with reporters after the game? Pitiful. Lack of self control. Meltdown mode. He alluded to the fact that there were so many Louisville fans and not enough ND fans. He knocked over the mic angrily saying from here forward we will get this fixed but he has to play good teams with his same players and same coaching tactics. It's not gonna end well this season.

Im hoping we can look back on this year and say were glad the admin had patience, but when you're in the middle of storm watching it you really want to press the eject button and move on. Its been an ugly no good year. Next years class cant get here soon enough.

His post game interview was terrible. He told every fan that doesn't believe in the team to NOT come back when they start winning.
Wrong, he should be talking about putting a better product on the court, what it takes, and to have the arena rocking again. Don't alienate the majority of the fan base because they don't want to waste money and time on a terrible product. You will need those fans if you actually start playing better.

Exactly on point! He threw the fan base that is unhappy under the bus. He is lucky Markus Burton bailed him out with a gutty performance at BC. BTW what happened to Allocco? He disappeared off the map. Undisclosed injury?? Missed 3 free throws in a row syndrome?
It's easy for Louisville to bring in undergrads through the Portal.
Allocco has a wrist injury that has kept him out four games so it is a known injury and they mentioned it during the game.
I did not like the almost three minute rant against the fans, public opinion on him and the team but he can fix that by putting a good product on the court. I'm sure he's frustrated by his and the team's performance, but that just seemed for show and I think he stated some things poorly. I remember when men's basketball actually sold out games because they were good and now we sell out games it seems only when we get a team that has fans that travel well.
We have a very good class coming in next year if they stay committed and I think we'll be much better especially if Burton and Davis stay, but it would be nice to see some sign of improvement this year and that hasn't happened yet.

He's not even smart enough to know ranting at the media/fans you ONLY EVER do after a WIN!!!! Never after a loss, after a loss, that never works and is typically done by coaches struggling.
Saban and Coach K as examples were masterful at knowing how to push buttons after a win. "Rat Poison" from saban. Or K thanking the fans but asking for more out of them to make it the toughest place to play.
