Freeman loves cross training… I think he’ll still be wr to start season but our safety recruiting has been poor, may need him there at some point

He's never played safety. He was a good cb in high school. If someone moves to safety it likely won't be him. This might just be giving him reps due to lack of cbs since grey was out yesterday

We have a lot more healthy and capable corners than safeties right now with Minich just getting injured. This has to be safety last resort depth. There's 5 or 6 healthy corners and mayber 3-4 healthy safeties. I'm not including Hart in the corners and gray may have been for a class conflict like kollie.

Safeties injured/dinged up you have minich, shuler, harper all injjured and only watts, henderson, and brown fully healthy. Only 3 fully healthy scholarship safeties right now and you have 5 or 6 full go corners.

Just a thumb injury. I believe he's still practicing

I don't think he gets moved to defense at all (just worst case cross training), but whether it's corner or safety it's due to safety numbers not corner numbers.
