I know a few older players. They are working on NIL. NIL is not a “jack” thing, it can’t be affiliated with the school.

There are lots of good things going. Only real issue is the OC. Maybe he is good, but that was an F for most fans and X players I talked too.

I was a huge Buch fan. I hated to see him go, but there was one thing missing with Buch and it was not his ability. It was leadership. Watch the games he played. When he went to the end zone to celebrate they left him hanging. They did not do that with Pyne or Book. He has all the tools but he needs to command the team and he just didn’t carry himself that way from the cheap seats.

Lou had 1 title in 9 years. He was an amazing coach but that title came with some crazy classes.

MF has upgraded the QB, RB and most spots. Let’s see what the next 5 hold for us.

At the time he committed to us, I seem to recall a lot of chatter that he really wanted an LSU offer, which only came some time after he had committed. LSU makes a lot of sense in terms of his childhood dream to play there, but makes little sense in terms of his desire to be the featured back and walking away from a ND degree.

At this point in his life, he probably has more EGO than FORWARD-THINKING common sense. Many young people are like that. Some older folk would argue that it's true of MOST.

I would be surprised if an ND degree is FOREMOST in his mind.

I saw a list of ND guys who've left early over the years. About half never got a degree at all, while the rest almost to a man only got their ND degree after quite a few years had elapsed.

Some people want the degree, some don't care.

He didn’t want to be at ND. There was nothing anyone could do for him since he had one foot always out the door.

It’s a shame the ncaa is the college equivalent of Goodell. Useless overpaid. College game is ruined right now.
The college game has allowed unregulated NIL and the “beam me up” transfer portal to ruin the game

We now have a trans athlete situation - instead of men playing girls we have a similar inequitable playing field due to nil n T portal.
Shame.

I could fix this game in 5 minutes. Regulate nil payments thru a common bank. Regulate T portal to third year plus only so first two years kids have to stick n compete if they leave they sit one year
And reset kickoff line to boost more returns
