Let's give some props to Navy

Playing very good football and have a legit shot of winning out. Gonna give us another week to wait and see what the committee decides.

I know it's a minority, but some on here don't want the Navy game every year. I hope this one doesn't go away.

I don't think you are in the minority. Most Notre Dame fans realize the significance of playing Navy and Navy has been a good team over the l recent past.

We only want to drop Navy when we lose to them, or limp away with serious injuries. Most years there is no upside, other than upholding a great tradition, which is reason enough to keep the series. I like navy being good and adding to our SOS which makes the game exciting and the associated risks much more attractive in my mind.

Precisely why signature wins should be evaluated at year end and not during the year. When ND was up "only" 24-21 at half against Navy, many on this board were outraged.

May turn out to be a huge win.
