Not quite Gibson off Eckersley. That was a great finish. Reminiscent of 1988 with Kirk Gibson.
My favorite player on the team.Freeman has been a Yankee killer. I hope the Yankees can make it a series.
No LA is garbage. I do like the stadium and yes WAS is the key word.Totally wrong Dodger Stadium is one of the best venues in all of sports. Went to alot of games there with my kids never had 1 problem with any of the fans. You have a distorted view of LA. It was a great place to live. Loved my time out there. I will likely retire out there once my boys finish high school.
It's an awesome city and ive been back multiple times. The main reason I left was to help my brother and sister take care of my dad who was in poor health. It's been an awesome expierence coming back home but I miss LA and cant wait to get back.No LA is garbage. I do like the stadium and yes WAS is the key word.
We don’t agree much, we agree here. It's an awesome city and ive been back multiple times. The main reason I left was to help my brother and sister take care of my dad who was in poor health. It's been an awesome expierence coming back home but I miss LA and cant wait to get back.
I gotta tip my hat to LA. Freeman has been a monster. I’ll never insult Stanton on the Yanks again. I used to call him Mr Veal. Soft & tender. Guys been great in the post season.Yankees batters took 24 four seam fastballs for called strikes. 24!! Infuriating.
The city is awesome? Like downtown LA? Traveled over 100 days a year for work in my 20s with 20+ days in LA annually. Not too many cities I loathed more (Orlando comes to mind). Mix in the prices, politics, traffic, no thanks. Can’t imagine raising my kids there. It's an awesome city and ive been back multiple times. I love Los Angeles. The city. The county. Surrounding area. All of it.The city is awesome? Like downtown LA? Traveled over 100 days a year for work in my 20s with 20+ days in LA annually. If you’re talking Hermosa/Manhattan, those are digestible.
I lived in the Los Feliz & Echo Park. Worked in Westwood & then Encino. While I agree that the skid row area of downtown is bad & not a regular stop for most locals but downtown spots like Little Tokyo & Staples area are fine. K-Town, Burbank, and the coast are great places for food, nightlife & events. Hollywood Bowl, Griffith Park great places to catch shows. You can pick up an LA Weekly and find tons of cool events to go to 7 days week. Big time Comedians, musical artist are performing everyday. The city is awesome? Like downtown LA? Too each its own, it’s my nightmare.I lived in the Los Feliz & Echo Park. Worked in Westwood & then Encino. No worries to each his own.Too each its own, it’s my nightmare.
Easy to manage from a couch.Never seen a manager do less with more. Roberts has had stacked team after stacked team and makes the worse calls. Why on earth would you pitch to Stanton when he has been red hot. You just watched your relief pitcher walk 2 and then after the go ahead run gets in you go to your best bp pitcher. The dude flat out sucks.
And the parallels with 1988 continued, as like that year, the Dodgers went on to win the series, 4-1. Congrats to the Dodgers. That was a great finish. Reminiscent of 1988 with Kirk Gibson.
The NYY T5 could be Karma for 2017.And the parallels with 1988 continued, as like that year, the Dodgers went on to win the series, 4-1. Congrats to the Dodgers.
5 million attended the Cubs victory parade in 2016. It was wall to wall people everywhere in the city. The 7th largest gathering of people in human history, and largest ever in the Western hemisphere. Lots of people called in "sick" that day.Parade on Friday. 0ne million people expected. Parking will be an issue.
Azul.
Thank You. I have enjoyed a lifelong love affair with that team.Congratulations to the LA Dodgers.
