As a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, I like the pick up. Hope Kennedy is a chip off the old man's block. Probably helped that MF and Brian Urlacher were teammates during MF's brief fling with the NFL, and have kept in touch since then. Losing Peyton Bowen and Brandyn Hillman in the last recruiting cycle made safety a position of need, so this is an important recruit.

Brian Urlacher said he had never been to ND's campus and was apparently blown away when he visited with Kennedy.

The kid can hit. How much more he grows and or building lateral quickness will be critical to position and impact at ND. There's no doubt he can straight line attack.
