Kendal Briles hired

consider the fate of those whose careers come into contact with Kelly. Some wise up and head for the door, others take the 'fall' and are shown the door!

Drama Queen...

Two guys got head coaching gigs. Two guys went to OSU. BVG was fired and deserved to be, as was Booker. Longo still has a job. Who took the 'fall?' It is called college football.

are you that naive? or just doing holiday kool-aid shots !

you gave comments/examples, exactly

If he's such a scumbag, why was he interviewed? Kinda sad to see a quality coach, if he is in fact one and was offered a job at ND, choose FAU over the Irish.

After getting hit with some recruiting violations last week you knew Briles was not coming to ND.

Purse - good to see you back.

Never offered. Dirtbag like his old man.

Actually it is stronger than that even.

Martin, Diaco and Sanford went on to HC. Denbrock has been mentioned.

Warriner, Hinton and Alford went on to OSU. Cooks went on to Oklahoma.

He has brought in guys like Elko, Denbrock, Denson, Quinn, Elliot (Weis or Kelly?), Hudson and others. His batting average on hiring good coaches has been very good. BVG and Booker are the two who did not work out.

I guess the jury is still out on Lyght and Driscoll but I think BVG has a lot to do with that.

He hired Lea although Elko should maybe get credit for that. Elston has not impressed except as a recruiting coordinator. Then I read a rumor that if he did not get the DC job, OSU was after him.

distinguish between guys that 'left' realizing the 'situation'
Kelly is a career killer if you hang around long enough you will get 'hanged' for his failures.
Sanford is a guy I think saw the writing on the wall. Alford, Cooks, Warriner are same.

The guy is starting to acquire a stench.

All empirical evidence shows that Brian Kelly is about as far away from a career killer as you can possibly be, but none the less purse the delusional self righteous wind bag with a football resume' consisting of a blank piece of paper, says he is!

Here's a quick update...based on fact you know less than nothing about football, all your opinions about the game of football are hereby rendered meaningless and irrelevant. Nice try though sweetheart. I'll get your Participation Trophy nice and shiny for you!!

considering that Kendall Briles can't get a job in Texas and any other P5 school for the role he played in the Baylor scandal I am pretty sure the OC job was never offered to him.

I think coach Sanford took the coach Martin route

Martin was a success st the lower division level on his own merits. He was less impressive or successful at ND. It is possible that being a 'yes' man was not something that fulfilled his career appetites.

I agree with the yes man comment, but also it's hard to say how successful coach Martin could have been at Notre Dame

I love coaching observations from 2 guys who've never coached the game of football at any level. Id bet you dollars to donuts neither one of you jokers could run a 10 minute individual practice period for any position on a football field. Yet you want to critique the coaching trajectories of Mike Sanford and Chuck Martin? I mean it's pure utter nonsense.

Get back to the laundry room bozo and put more quarters in.
