Talks between Clemson, Florida State and the ACC have ramped up in recent weeks, according to sources, on a proposal that would allot a greater share of revenue to schools based on brand valuation and television ratings, as well as potentially alter the expiration of the league's grant of rights -- which currently runs through 2036 -- in exchange for the Tigers and Seminoles dropping their lawsuits against the conference.

They don't want to become like the PAC 10, who should have given USC and Oregon more. But for some reason everyone gets the same cut. At least I think that's how it works. And then USC just up and left. And now they're in the motherfckin' Big Ten. Which is obviously insane. And the PAC-10 was a totally awesome conference, and now it's destroyed. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the news, why don't they just let USC have more? So I guess the ACC doesn't want to suffer the same fate, even though Stanford is now a member.

I'm hopeful CAL and Stanford return. Oregon State Washington St CAL Stanford CSU Boise Fresno SDSU and maybe UNLV Tulane Memphis and SMU if possible would make a pretty good confernce.

It'll be a long while, unless ACC just lets them go. I believe the contract runs through 2037.
