that ND is the only 2-0 team with both wins coming against Power 5 opponents. Bring on GT.

Unreal!!! Doesn't the idiocy ever end.that ND is the only 2-0 team with both wins coming against Power 5 opponents. Bring on GT.
one game at a time. Deshone Kizer can lead us too victory this Sat. The D was alright yesterday - just need to be even better this week. The Va. O had some fortunate plays go their way on O. Our D after re-watching the game was not as bad as first thought.
Hilariously sad but true! However, this guy did it over and over.... He was like the priest playing golf in Caddyshack....
I worry greatly about Prosise's durability. He is a total stud, but seems to get caught in a lot of scrums grinding for extra yards. Nails tough.....but that ups the injury probability. He is this season's MVP so far imo....The Irish could have blown Virginia out but let them stay in the game and Coach Kelly was pouting after the Malik injury. Our big play maker Will Fuller and a motivated Dishone Kizer bailed us out.
I was disappointed in Coach Kelly in this game. He should have tried to rally the players after Malik went down instead of pouting.
Great game by CJ Prosise. He is even better than Folston imo. But we really could have used Folston (- because we probably wouldn't have had to have Malik run it so much. And he is a great between the tackles runner.
I think the Irish have more talent and are capable of beating GTECH. It is up to the ND coaching staff to have a good game plan and to get the players up for the game.
Dishone Kizer has the arm to make the deep throws to keep GTECH honest so the Irish can run on gtechs defense. We need to be able to get up early and control the clock and tire out the GTECH defense so we can score at will.
Kizer is no Tommy Rees in that he has a bigtime arm and athletic ability.
My prediction.
The Irish 34 GTECH 30. The Irish defense makes enough big plays to secure the upset victory (GTECH is favored by 12 I think)

The one major concern most all of us had was can we keep Zaire upright for the season. What an absolute crying shame that we lost him...... Awful...At this point I am worried about all the Notre Dame players durability. Shellshocked.

Kizer's toss was like a Zeus thunderbolt. Man did we need that..... It made me forget burning close to 20 seconds as we scrambled to set it up.
PS Against Ga Tech I predict that Kizer rolls.
CGVR, Kizers size and throwing style reminds me of Jameis Winston a little. And he is also tall and has some athleticism to elude tacklers. What do you think?
Heck of a post. Good stuff. I really really hope that you're right.I love his overall athleticism. His high school resume' is very impressive. I have always liked qb's with a basketball background. This helps with footwork, quick decisions, field vision..... Adding baseball is a bonus. Fsu listed winston at 6'4" 230 lbs. We have kizer at a half inch taller and the same weight. I am actually surprised by the weight. That is impressive. I am certain that Kizer is more mature than Winston..... I am hoping he is more agile.
This next game is going to be a crucible on both sides of the ball for us. I saw that one of their DE's is 236 pounds.... In the infamous words of Dom Deluise in History of the World...."killlll him!" We need to stone old punish Ga Tech and beat them to an ever living pulp. Our guys need to be as violent as they have ever been and blow their stuff to smithereens. This is a massive statement game and has possible major downstream playoff implications.
We are 27-6-1 lifetime versus them. My reference point is a 69-14 demolition of them in '77. That was as big a win as I ever witnessed. It was merciless.
More annihilation is in order. Instead of being hurt let's start doing the hurting.
Kizer is being given the chance he has lived his life for..... His debut quick strike was lethal, staggering, season saving....
This is going to be a major test for him.
He'll deliver.
