Jaylon's last home game?

I think Jaylon comes back to win his second straight National Championship with the Irish.

We had this discussion before the season started Bodi. All these guys need to play out their eligibility. They need to be as big and strong as possible when they arrive in the league. That will help them succeed in the league.

And it allows us to have NFL 1st rounders playing in our defense and streaking downfield on our offense. That's how championships are won.

Jaylon much better athlete but as Bizzy points out Manti dominated games in a way Jaylon has not. Manti is easily one of the best defenders in ND history... I think he was that good.
as a senior yes. comparing both as juniors i'll take jaylon, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I don't particularly remember a whole lot about Te'o's 2011 season, but I have a hard time believing that. As I said, Jaylon is clearly a better athlete, and he does a great job of running down screens and ballcarriers away from him, but I think Te'o was much better fundamentally, intelligence wise, and playing the position the way its supposed to played.

I think Jaylon can be a good NFL player lined up outside the TE, either shaded outside of the TE or walked out vs. two and three receiver sets, but I think he's average to below average when it comes to playing inside the tackle box -- poor footwork, slow to read and react, plenty of mental errors, and he doesn't do a good job of attacking the line of scrimmage.
we'll agree to disagree.

Everything changes is we make the dance and run the table. Then all bets are off... (And I'll take that ;)
