Jameis Winston a bust at Tampa?

I was having lunch today at Applebee's with my accountant and my Spiritual advisor, who both happen to be
Tampa Bay bucs season ticket holders. After talking about politics and religion the conversation turned to football. They quickly tired of me talking about how great Notre Dame is and they started talking about Tampa Bay football and particularly the Tampa QB Jameis Winston.. My spiritual advisor seemed to think Jameis looked depressed on the sidelines and was having trouble fitting in at Tampa. My accountant told him that Jameis should be depressed because his numbers were very poor. He pointed out that Jameis has thrown for only 10 tds and 8 ints with three fumbles. They both think that Tampa may have wasted a draft pick on Jameis and that he might end up a bust.
What do you guys think?

Cam Newton has 11 TDs and 8 Ints and he is mentioned as a MVP candidate. I think your accountant needs to include other information when reviewing a single player. The rest of the team has importance as well.

I think who ever you are talking to needs to get out more. An obvious Vit D3 deficiency.

They love him in Tampa. His numbers are affected by one four interception game. Take that off the table and his QB rating is better than over half the QB's. Including Luck and Manning. Even factoring in that game he's been better than Marriota who is second to last in QB rating and 1-5....... the only other draft choice.

His leadership and work ethic has been off the charts and Tampa would have three more games in the win column if the kicker they fired hadn't missed 6 of 7 field goals and two extra points in back to back games and the defense hadn't collapsed in the the 4th quarter of another game giving up a 24-0 lead. As it stands they already have won more games than last year.

Tampa management, coaches, players and most fans are quite pleased with what they see at the QB position. Winston is having a better first season than many HOF QB that became household names. Especially considering all the drops Evan's continues to make and an injured OL that is a work in progress.

I won't even bring up his off the field contributions to the Tampa community he's being lauded for.

Sit back and enjoy the ride and consider changing accountants. No telling what other bad information you're getting.

Tampa went 2-14 last season and this year they are 3-4 and could easily be 5-2 if Kyle Brindza could kick a field goal against Houston and if the defense hadn't collapsed against Washington.

Winston is getting better every week. His QB rating is 110.5 in the last three games. He lead the game winning drive in OT last week on the road against the Falcons including converting 3 third down passes on the drive.

I'd say you need to get better information.
