Talks about a division in college sports

Worth a read
Its an interesting topic just not sure what I think about it. The division with the pay members would certainly be the strongest. It concerns me that this is even being discussed. I don't think any of it would be good for college football.

Second thought, ND has invested to much money into the program to just walk away from big boy football.
Couldnt agree more. I just dont see how they can walk away.

In spite of Oregon and Stanford being different models, how many times has Stanford beaten Oregon recently?

Direct quote from Swarbrick contained in the article:

"Other schools will say, 'Hey, we're comfortable with sort of semi-pro
model.' That's a perfectly valid choice. But for some of us that's not a
choice we're prepared to make and we won't."

Seems pretty clear to me which way ND is headed.

Uhhhhhhh.......no way does Jack make any COMMON SENSE when he has allowed BK to hire Quinn and 2 others as non-coaching ANALYSTS!!?? ND IS big Time NCAA FOOTBALL!!! So are most other sports including WBB. I doubt I'm buying my ND tees etc if ND is not top echelon.

GO IRISH!!!
