No, a good coach makes marked improvement from year 1 to 2, which he’s done thus far. He went 6-7 last year and is 6-0 this year with a win over #3 Texas. Last year Texas beat them like 49-0, that’s quite a turnaround.

so true…and if ND ever decided to dip into that 20 billion dollar endowment to actually pay their football coaches we may have something. Until then….they will get “learning on the job” candidates. They have to have wealthy boosters, right?
