Is Gerad Parker the answer for Notre Dame football OC?
With Notre Dame football striking out on Ludwig, what are the chances Gerad Parker gets a promotion to the offensive coordinator?
Sometimes they have to take what they can get like in recruiting!![]()

And that’s not good…. I just don’t get it … nd would pay $2M for a top OC and they’d have a really good talented offense to coach … do they not rant to work for freeman, seems oddIMO Gerad Parker will likely be the next OC.
When in the last 30 years has ND been a must have job for anyone ? The best guys can get big money at lots of places. A position at ND brings more obstacles to success than many other places for the same money. It's not a desirable place to work in the college football landscape in this day and age. What's the big draw ? The mystique is far from what it used to be. Has absolutely nothing to do with Freeman. ND is not the top of the mountain. And that’s not good…. You think he was top of the mountain?Ask Al Golden.
Your post is garbage.
Right, so spend a couple of million extra out of the BILLIONS you have to get top notch coaches. There is a price for everything and ND got it.When in the last 30 years has ND been a must have job for anyone ? The best guys can get big money at lots of places. Only Pendick44 was that stupid, LOL. BVG is gonna be great!!You think he was top of the mountain?
I think you thought BVG was a good DC as well
It's called settling at ND. Just a normal thing for JS.Sometimes they have to take what they can get like in recruiting!
I seem to remember that everyone hollered at Kelly for conducting a "major national search" that wasn't really and then promoting Rees. So everyone was mad because we didn't go to any trouble to do a search.I have concerns mainly cause if this guy was ready to be the OC there would have been no search and he would have been promoted shortly after Rees took the Bama job. The fact that MF looked elsewhere makes me feel he’s not ready. Now all you can do is hope he ends up developing into a good OC.
