Just curious . Does anybody know , how many former ND players' kids or brothers went to other schools . I know we lost a blue- chip ND player's son ( Bars?) to UCLA. Smith to Alabama ,Cage to Ohio State

Nick Montana ,the oldest son , was a very good high school quarterback , went to Washington , but lost the starting job and transferred to ? Montana or one of the Dakotas !I think . Nate Montana ,not a very or highly rated high school quarterback ,came to ND ,looked decent in the spring game ,had one or two plays in the regular season,never saw the field again .Joe Montana blamed Kelly for not giving Nate a chance .Nate transferred to some JC in California and I don't know what happened after that.

I believe Nick transferred to BYU and spent most of his time there as backup.

my shock wasn't that he didn't choose ND. It was that I don't remember reading whether he was recruited by ND.
