our top seeded irish take on DePaul tonight in a rematch for the right to go to the sweet 16. the last meeting earlier this year was close but we didn't have turner and plus this young team was still trying to find an identity at the time. with turner playing this time and reimer now playing really well this shouldn't be close at the end. game time is 9pm on espn

Another relatively sparse crowd. Lower section full, upper section all but empty.

My prediction is a bench clearing with four minutes left in the game.

this team is playing like crap right now as they can't play defense or do anything on offense. McGraw needs to bench some her starters to give them a wakeup call

i'm not going to get too excited but there playing way better now than they did early on. mabrey finally finding her stroke the the three point area has fired up this team right now

Demons started playing a little too close, so we drove into them and started drawing fouls. A couple threes by Mabry and good stops and we're up by 5.

Good run.

Hope its nothing serious. Would hate to lose her like we lost Achonwa last year.

Need all the "bigs" to make a serious run.

I guess we'll find out early about turner if she isn't in the starting lineup in the second half

She seemed to walk it off okay, and is on the warm up floor. Both she and Reimer petty much just standing, though.

Turner has no quickness in jumping or changing direction. Passes that she'd normally get are out of reach.

the DePaul players have ben mugging our players like crazy on the inside all night and the refs aren't calling them for it

overall were playing a lot better in the second half but we still have to get into there shooters face a little more when there shooting the three

I think were starting to put them away now. impressive to have a 20 pt lead with loyd having an off night scoring wise. if mabrey can continue to shoot this way then we'll be really tough to beat next weekend

So … our ladies win!

Lloyd had probably her worst shooting night. Hope she regains her touch from now on!

Good thing that Mabrey was hot, and Turner, Reimer, Allen started scoring late in the game.

they still have to clean up a few things on both ends but overall a good win tonight. mabrey and her three pt shooting is going to be a big key next weekend

the good news moving forward is that we probably won't play another team that goes runs up and down the court that fast unless we make it to the final four and play uconn
