I noticed that the NCAA VP of basketball operations has questioned the officials in the Duke/Wisconsin game. Where the hell was the NCAA VP of football operations after the ND/FSU game? Three blown calls in the final minute and no one at the top has any questions or comments at the time? Is anyone breathing who is working in the NCAA offices?

My guess is becasue it wasn't the championship game, perhaps.

But I also have to ask what are the three blown calls? They called a pick where the receiver was being held is one, and the FSU player took off his helmet is the other I remember, What's the third?

Anti-ND, anti-catholic, etc. is the reason. When a player from another team takes off his helmet it'll be flagged but when it benefits ND, it won't be called.

Same ref responsible for other two blown calls ruled INT on NDs last play when defender was 2 yds out of bounds when he caught it. It actually still stands as an INT in the record books.

Last offensive play for ND was intercepted by FSU. Only problem is the DB was out of bounds and right in front of the official. That play really had no bearing on the outcome but it was still the third blown call in a series of bad calls during that final minute.

Bad calls are part of the game...they never change the outcome of the game no matter how blatant they seem.

ND will have to factor in a TDs worth of bad calls in a game to the refs if they want to remain independent and compete for NCs. ACC refs seem no better than Big East or Big Ten refs where ND is involved.

Leave no doubt! That has to be NDs stance when it comes refs. Every play counts and every inch counts.
