Road win against Mich State is not bad. Since they are not ranked it is not defining but it is significant. Road loss there isn't huge either. That's the problem we=hen you face unranked teams with a good history. I think you win by 7-10 though.

If ND loses, not only does Kelly need to go, Jack needs to go too. It will be Jack's fault for keeping Kelly this long and not hiring Fleck, Peterson, Rhule etc.
If he wins a close game 7 pts or less, jury is still out as he is playing a weak weak sparty team. USC and Stanford games will determine if he and Jack stays or goes.

Well that's true, but the odds that a one loss non conference team will make the play offs are pretty high to begin with.
