I'd give Mr. Golden whatever he wants.

While that's unlikely stranger things have certainly happened and have even happened here.

I don’t want golden as HC… he’s the opposite of freeman.

Freeman is becoming a great ceo, but keep him the heck away from the actual game plans. I feel golden isn’t the ceo nd needs, but is one of the best defensive game planners and making adjustments.

If freeman leaves shockingly, you need to sure up golden and denbrock as coordinators and find a ceo that doesn’t have as much of an ego (like freeman doesn’t , his best attribute)

Is there really this much smoke about freeman to the bears. ??

He’s been a HC for 3 years. Has one really good season and now he is a top choice for NFL teams ? I don’t see this happening.
There's some really bad coaches in the NFL. In this new world of coaching, when a coach gets to where they want to be, they get locked in for 10ish years. You either do that, or know you'll be flipping coaches every few years.

I don't think Freeman will go to the NFL anytime soon. I can't imagine he thinks that type of coaching fits him. But who knows.

It would be a career mistake to take on the Bear's job. Good college coaches don't do well in the NFL and the list is long - Saban, Holtz, Myers, Rhule, Chip Kelly etc. Better to build a stellar reputation at ND at this time.

Even though I'd like to see ND show up and do well in the CFP first, it's probably the right time to lock him in for minimum 5 years $40M.

Now it’s Dan Lanning to the bears. The media just throws crap out there. Or it’s the agents looking for a pay raise for their guy that put these rumors out there.

Ryan Day will probably be open in a few weeks. Hell, I know quite a few Buckeye fans that would help him move to South Bend

Respectfully disagree.. Vrabel, Belichick MAYBE. But with NIL and TP you're going to need someone who is younger that has a bunch of energy to dump into recruiting. That probably rules out any NFL coach who likely

Al Golden doesn't really like recruiting, and I'm not sure he has the burning desire to run his own show. Based off stuff he's said, the fact they had to supplement his recruiting efforts, and his overall demeanor.
