There was a little skit with the priest and some teenagers. The conversation was about which saints to pray for. The altar boy asked "Which saint do I pray to for Notre Dame football?" The priest said St. Patrick. Many in church found it humorous, while I just sighed and slouched. Is this what ND football has come to??? While we're at it, I learned that you're supposed to pray to St. Jude for lost causes. Guess that would apply as well.

Heaven has a lot more to worry about than college football and the egos that come with it. Don't sweat it. There's nothing you or I or any fan can do about it anyway other than chirp away on message boards. I know a fellow with bone and stage 4 lung. His goal is to make it to Xmas one last time for his family. That's the reality of the situation. That's really why St Jude is the patron of lost causes.
